Army Green. Last.

Top: Montif | High Waist Jeans: OSF | Creepers: TrendyZone | Bag: Charles & Keith

Okay, okay. This is last! The last camo photo i will bombard to you because.....spring is here! My second favorite season, whoop whoop. Okay before i get too excited over flowers and colors and such nonsense. Let's talk about this outfit. I bought them cheap at $15, what attracts me is the army inspired style it evokes. The upside down sergeant rank, nicely pointed out by le A and the studded fake pocket. Also, it is cropped that means i could perfectly pair it with my only high waist jeans.

On a side note, this fabulous Google we all known for being such user friendly interface has decided that to be more complex, challenging our brain. They have finally confirmed the roll out of GFC and removed by July 1st. So, last night i made the necessary move as well. I have imported all the blog i have been reading to Bloglovin'. Such a hassle. You can do it easily too, there is a button to help you out.
Read up on IFB guide to import here.

I hope you guys start following me in Bloglovin' from now. x

Tribal Daze Soft Grunge

I hope my last appearance haven't cause much of a stir to anyone concern. My tummy was giving the letdown for a week which includes not being able to poop. Yeah, just imagined crying your way to the hospital with a bad fever and body ache and then just to get a few dose of jabs plus a doctor's comment saying, "Dear, your stomach is full of shit. Do you eat veggies?" and BAM. Nope. No. I don't.
It still shouldn't be a problem anyway because a few days before the irrelevant gastric attack, my bowels were just damn fine. Slick, clean and moving out. So yup, i have like 5 days of shit in my tummy. *Belly Dance* All this eventually result to a few days of sick leave & a blog schedule over run. Oh hello 2013. Sarcasm.

Before the ranting becomes a self critic post, towards the outfit photo, this is as promised taken in much more relevant subject on my last post, i bought the tribal outwear at a blogshop i frequent monthly without fail, thewhatisdope. The headband is one of my DIYs not posted yet. I would identify this outfit as soft grunge as it is grungy and yet the purple, pink & blue palette on accessories gives a feminine look to it.

Floral Headband: DIY | Peplum top: Cotton On |  High Waist Jeans: Ohsofickle | Suede Creeper: TrendyZone | Tribal Knitwear: TheWhatIsDope | Bag: Charles&Keith | Accessories: Rubi | Watch: Daiso

A close up on the knitwear and colorful accessories and a floral headband i made last summer! My proud masterpiece. Definitely wearing it more now. I really love the beads bracelet, so bohemian, confuzzled me says and the pink watch is only $2.

I am totally coveting on the knitwear even though its a little oversize. One disadvantage is the way it is designed, i could not hang my sling on my shoulder so i have to actually hand held it on the strap. I guess sometimes, designers overlook functionality for the sass. Not my point. I will be back with more on my wander trip post. P.s this is the last photo of 2012. I know right. Have yet to take the first outfit photo of 2013 and look at the date now. Till next time.

Chasing the Sun

Almost to the evening, this photo is taken at a very secluded place of Singapore in between a Millitary base. Its a wander trip again, visiting places i did not expect existed (coming up soon). This is also one of my last few outfit of 2012 taken a week or so, you see, i have not had much times on my hand to maintain my blog. But don't you worry, i did scheduled some post up next week and read blogs in the night or weekends.
Vespa Raglan: Thrifted | High Waisted Jeans: OSF | Bagpack: Cotton On | Mary Jane: Alice | Gold Watch: Casio

For this outfit, its very much leaning to the gothic side. So out of nature, the top is actually my casual shirt turn home pyjama. I have not had much luck in finding tshirt that i loved so this particular was a savage back in 2009. I am loving the high waisted jeans that i swear i am going to throw all the midwaist ones and buy the HW in million other colours (to match with all my favourite Uniqlo granny panties)!  The ones i have is disgusting because of its faded colour and everytime i walked it feels like its dropping down and showing le butt crack. Oh, good bye to that.

Anywho, stay tuned for a wander trip post and i hope you are enjoying your holiday break.

Oh Guilin, Little Guilin

Now that the holidays are over, I visited Little Guilin somewhere in Bukit Batok. It is such a pretty and rare sight, with well some little mountain view in the midst of modern civilization.
Singapore is quite a hard place to find peace within a distance...there are definitely a lot of greens but to find a breath taking view (though it is a compact view) is a great gratitude to God. I really appreciate the last of this kind of scenery here. What's missing is Pumba. K.

White Peplum Top: Cotton On | Belt: Zara | Maxi Skirt: New Look | Gold Watch: Casio | Bangle: Forever21
For this outfit, it is actually taken after i came back from a wedding and took a trip here. I am wearing my white peplum top tucked in really neatly and coveting on my size 12 (too big, as i found it on the last piece rack, i am more of a 6) New Look Burgundy colored maxi skirt. I cinched it with a tan leather belt to make it fit. My hair is done up to make it a little more formal.
One thing about buying over sized clothes is that usually flowy skirts are much easier to tighten as they won't show the obvious largeness. I am a living example Imagine wearing a size 12 pants and putting a belt on it, obviously everyone can see through that!!

Are you guys enjoying this spectacular view? I wish it was like in the middle of the jungle or something, the building in the photo spoils it! I should post this to 9gag!

Share with me about your country mountain experiences, maybe in your past post?!

Comfort Zone

I don't like to have to think over titles. They are annoying and troublesome, sometimes i just want to leave it empty. Unfilled. For this post, i named it Comfort Zone, because its comfy?! I mean, where else do you feel comfortable except under your pajamas and clothes that fit right. I think most of it contributes to the lack of color and my warm head.

This outfit is more of an Emoda (japanese mode style) inspired and I am in love with the combination. I feel superbly comfortable in this, the beanie, bag and creeper suede shoes give such a grunge feel to it!

Peplum White Top (tucked in): Cotton On | Maxi Skirt: Thrifted | Belt: Thrifted | Kitty Beanie: OhSoFickle

It was a day out window shopping and i got myself a holiday deals in H&M for this beautiful cardigan and quickly put it on as i find the temperature a little cold in the mall. I look a little bulky below but the material feels like Angora and it is like living in a comforter without actually living in it! I am igloo woman!
I love the look my skirt gave but it was a cheat though, i bought it a few years back and it lands on my ankle so that does not count as a maxi skirt, more like midi. I wish they have it in a longer length. Pfft.
Bag: Cotton On | Eye Bracelet: Scape FleaMarket | Bangle: F21 | Gold Watch: Casio

I am having a hard time walking in my suede creepers and found the ones that look much more original like the Undergrounds one more comfortable and stable. They just cost a ton too much for my wallet at the moment.

For tomorrow, i am planning to watch The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey. To be honest, i have not got a clue what Lord Of the Rings is all about....I am a Harry Potter Fan...not LOTR. Let's hope i won't be clueless.

What do you think, do you love this look? Too monochrome?

The Cat Burglar

Funny how i named the title the cat burglar, maybe because A) i am wearing my kitty beanie B) wearing 99% black ensemble. C) Both A & B combine makes me look like a burglar. A cat burglar D) I am a drug addict about to rob the hell out of some one (NO I AM NOT) or.... i am just in need of an eye mask. Very nice...not....

Honestly, i don't really like this outfit and found myself feeling awkward, thank you to wearing too much black, Hamburglar (that character from McDees) will be proud. I don't even want to talk about it. Oh well, at least i did take some crazy snapshots with it. If you saw someone at a tunnel doing weird things, it might just be me.

"Whassup beegersx ? Get me the potato sack!"
Not looking fresh there, i went out right after work so this is the result of that evening. 10kg eyebags for the first picture of this post! Congratulations!
Oh Hi girlfriend! OK. Excuse the face.

Kitty Beanie: OhSoFickle | Knitwear: New Look | High Waist Electric Blue Pants: H&M | DM Inspired Maryjane: Alice | Bag: Charles & Keith
"So...okay...hi... did you enjoy the show? Now hide yo cats people, i am gonna get em!"
Enough trolling already. For more troll faces, follow my Instagram.

By the way these photos was taken a few days before my birthday a few weeks back. It is definitely an overdued one & good news, my eye bags are reduced quite a fair bit therefore i actually put much thought to put  up this Potato post to make myself feel bad/good? about it.......oh why so bipolar Liya? Time of the month.

P.s: Sorry for the weird captions and ramblings! I feel like an idiot and i am not sorry.

Anything but Black

This weekend i embraced #everythingbutblack in collaboration of BlackOut week organised by this super awesome blogger, Mon. A lot of bloggers took part in this challenge where they have to dress up anything but black and document it through their social networks.

Even though it started since last Monday, i have not had the chance to dress up proper as i worked in a uniformed environment. I had the chance to finally embrace my DIY shirt *coming soon* with my highwaist pants & my current favorite arm candy!

I know its the last day of the BlackOut and this challenge has inspired me to get more colored items....especially shoes. Oh time for shopping.......Anyway, that bag is grey, just in case you think i'm cheating. Heh.
DIY Shirt (Previously is a dress) - Uniqlo | High waisted Blue Jeans - H&M | Studded Bag - Thrifted | Freestyle Hi Shoe - Reebok | Eye Bracelet - Scape Flea Market | Gold Bracelet - F21 | Gold Watch - Casio
P.S: Illuminati is sooooo over rated, i love the eye bracelet. What say you?!

Trying to adjust the Le Annoying fringe and gave up so here is a picture of me + a random can of coke i don't know from god knows where. (OH HEY, FREE ADVERTISEMENT FOR YOU COCA COLA!)
Ice cream from the ice cream cart uncle along Orchard Road with my favorite flavor! Peppermint!
Here is a random gif i make for the sake of it. Cool huh. Photos taken by my buddy with his Canon Rebel T3i.
Meet up with my Photo buddy and went exploring certain nooks and crannies in town then some alone time with myself before heading to meet my mate for dessert. I also went to a modern flea market and took some photos of it to show up soon. So watch this space guise, lifestyle photo updates soon.

Come hang out with me some time people, we can have good fun! Tata.

20th [Part II: Kimono + Burgundy]

Hi everyone! So here is my continuation from my 20th [Part I : Presents] Post! For my birthday, i carefully picked my favorite dress of the moment which i wore during my trip to the Halloween Horrors 2012 here! I love this dress because of its color, call it burgundy or oxblood (aren't they similar), i am head over heels with this berry shade.
Burgundy Dress - eCheris | Feather Prints Kimono - eCheris | Wedges - Trendyzone | Belt - Zara | Watch - Thrifted | Bag - Charles & Keith
So here is what i think about the outfit: I pretty much love the volume and texture it gives on the outfit making it look a little classy. The belt definitely cinched my tiny waist perfectly with the kimono falling into a pretty flow of shape on the top. The kimono outerwear, which also can be seen here, makes the outfit stands out a lot because of its feather prints. I do feel that i am showing too much legs. Yikes. But hey, i look so happy (THAT SURPRISES ME)!

I am actually enjoying every part of my birthday WEEK.This might be the best i ever had. I notice some 'noise' on my photos...hmmm........anywho, time to catch up on X-Factor thanksgiving live show now! I hope Carly Rose Sonenclar wins. Bye Cheris!

Frosty Pink Feminity

Wedding bells are ringing this coming months but i am not the one getting married! I have got trouble finding a perfect wedding outfit because i don't like wearing the traditional ones as mention on the "Solemnization Day" outfit post.

I said it before, our culture have this wedding practice where the Solemnization ceremony takes place before the Wedding. The wedding is where the wedded couple wear all their extravagant top of the world king & queen clothes; sitting on a decorated stage while their guest came over to give blessings and take photos. Blah blah blah.

p.s Sorry the camera phone sucks. Too lazy to bring out my camera. (trying not too enlarge/edit/strip the photo too much.)

Peplum Top - Cotton On | Maxi Skirt - Thrifted | Sneakers - F21 | Bag - Recycled | Watch - Daiso

For the Wedding Ceremony, i decided to do a modernize version of a "Baju Kurung". I wore my peplum top  from cotton on at 2 for $30. You guys have seen the Mint Green one here. Match it with my favorite hot pink pencil maxi skirt which was once featured here (and my readers love it!). Heh. I think this outfit give such a great contrast making it look clean because of the White and Pink blocking. I wore it with my faded pink sneakers....which is from Forever21 & in dire need of a color redye. Disappointing.

For the accessories, i just wore my striking pinkish purple watch from Daiso that cost only $2 The purple bag is actually a carrier i got when i bought some clothes. Recycle, people!

I enjoyed the wedding, the shows that is put up for the wedded couple & of course the big feast of food. I would have captured the essence of it in my camera but i didn't bring it along. Maybe next time. There is one more wedding coming up next month!

On another note, i might post tomorrow since its my birthday. Heh.

What do you think? Dressed down or up for a wedding?

Something Blue...

The week pass by so fast but it's weird because i have been so busy working & there is a few television at my workplace showing Hurricane Sandy. It was quite scary to see such a thing happen to the East Coast of the United States. Now that i have the free time, all i see was the after math video circulating through Youtube. Oh my dear reality.... how heart-wrenching.

On a lighter note, Congrats to US reelected Mr President Obama. Also, i didn't even had the given chance to tell you guys i was guest posting for Lilla here : 4 Spanish Brand everyone should know. So do visit her blog & sent comments her way too.

Anywho, this was what i wore to a solemnization ceremony before the wedding (which happens the next day for a Malay Muslim wedding practices). It was way casual but still modest. I just didn't want to trouble myself wearing the traditional Baju Kurung like the one on here. I also did wore this dress with a different layer on here.

Vintage Denim & Navy Blue Midi - Thrifted | Sneakers - Vans | Bag - Charles & Keith | I love Paris Bangle - Forever21

That's all folks.

Time of my life, maybe

Excuse the annoying fringe! But hey guys, this maybe the time of my life because in a few hours of the moment am about to enter Universal Studios Singapore to experience Halloween in the theme park. I will definitely fill you guys up next post for that. This is what i wore that night.

Cardigan - Thrifted | Burgundy Dress - eCheris | Leggings - Cotton On | Suede Creepers - Thrifted

I really love this burgundy dress! The quality of it is super soft and it flows nicely. Oh, and if you didn't know, i got myself sort of like a creepers shoe but not sure if it really is creepers. It resembles more of a flatform sneakers instead..... Oh well.

Quick hello to everyone, i am a little too caught up with work and the long weekend from Hari Raya Haji Holidays is making me catch up with my social life. I have a wedding to attend to later! Enjoy your days ahead!

Seizing Leopard Print

This was taken a week or 2 back in September. Please soak in my SMIZING face, heh. Well, i was super excited at that time as we (a couple of friends) is about to enter the Harry Potter Exhibition! (This will need a separate post though because i dedicated my life with all things Harry Potter) Alright, i will save the nostalgia moment next post.
Leopard Print Top - echeris | Jeans - Initial April | Belt - Zara | Mary Jane - Alice | Bag - Charles & Keith

This might be one of my favorite outfit ever. First, it is in leopard print. I have given my Bershka Leopard Print top to my friend a month back because it just didn't suit me at all even though i truly love it. What doesn't flatter must go, girls. THAT'S RULE NO. 1 in my wardrobe.

So this sort of crop top with long sleeves caught my eye because the materials are like a knitted sweater but quite light. It kinda cools you off too! I know it would suit me better if i am wearing a high-waist jeans instead as I don't like the top showing my muffins(not like it's so hideous) when i raised up my hand.

I am pretty surprised by how the photos turn up because A doesn't take good pictures on my phone, my digital camera or my Nex 5 (this one)! I really need to thank my love for this outstanding, improved and vibrant photo. Also, i really like this picture because its like i am embracing happiness. Now that's rare and to have somebody you love captured it means a lot.  Let's just hope it stay this way.

I will tell you about my Harry Potter Exhibition Adventure soon. How about you?
Have you visited the Harry Potter Exhibition before?
